IEAT and Bangpa-in Industrial Estate has adopted the concept of Eco Industrial Town In the industrial development process which operates under symbiosis, environmental conservation and sustainable resource consumption principle as well as health concern and the quality of life of the community. Eco Industrial Town (EIT) development policy is derived in 5-aspect, 22-indicator of the development, which includes physical aspect, economic aspect, environmental aspect, social aspect and managerial aspect.

Most recently, Bangpa-In Industrial Estate was given the Eco Industrial Town Award for the Eco-Champion category

The Concept of Eco Industrial Town Development

An Eco Industrial Town is a town/an area of industrial development where an industrial estate is linked to factories, organizations, local agencies and the surroundings in a community in a way that allows them all to grow together while at the same time under good environmental governance.

Physical aspect
A green zone in accordance with legal (EIA) requirements is provided and public utilities standards are strictly adhered to.
Economic aspect
An analysis of the operator's investment in the industrial estate and its creation of job opportunities for the local community is conducted.
Environmental aspect
Controls are in place for water pollution, water use, water treatment, and air pollution and environmentally friendly processes to provide products or services are supported to reduce the impact of noise, odor, dust, and smoke on the community.
Social impact
Activities to build good relations and understanding between the community and business operations in the industrial estate are organized.
